Summer Weight Loss for the Short and Long Term

All of a sudden Memorial Days weekend is around the corner. Have you been putting off your commitment to lose weight for the summer? It isn’t too late. You still have a couple of weeks before you will be heading to the beach every weekend. Here are some ideas for summer weight loss:
If you're trying to lose weight for summer, it is time to increase (or start) your workout routine. And because summer is fast approaching, you need to get results. Choose interval training or a sweat-inducing total-body bootcamp exercise program.  Don’t forget to lift weights. Strength training needs to be part of your regular exercise routine. Muscle burns more calories at rest than body fat.

Need to lose more than 5 pounds or do you want a specific plan for your body? You may want to start working out with a personal trainer. Personal trainers can help you work on your target areas, they can push you more than you can push yourself, they make sure you are exercising safely, and they help keep you motivated. Face it, losing weight is a simple chemical equation – you must take in fewer calories than you burn. Shouldn’t be hard right?

It is hard for many, that’s why too many keep on that winter weight all summer long.  Personal trainers are able to help you make realistic and attainable fitness goals. You can’t lose 10 pounds in the next two weeks, but you can make fitness goals that are measurable which helps you to stay motivated.

Now, we know that none of this helps you with Memorial Day weekend this weekend.  While it is never too soon to start exercising, for the near future, there are foods that you can eat to help you stop bloating and others that you can eat to help you fight belly fat? If you plan on getting in a bathing suit this weekend, avoid bloating foods like beans and artificial sweeteners while tropical fruits like pineapple and papaya are foods you can eat that will help trim belly fat.

But start exercising today, call and make an appointment for personal training. Need help losing weight for summer? Contact Best Fitness in your area.
